Full Stack Web Developer

We are a growing marketing agency starting to dip our toes in product development for various laggard industries. We are looking for someone who understands proper software development practices, has basic CMS knowledge and strives to become better every day at what they do.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Coordinate efforts with designer and UX teams to develop and support customized and efficient websites, primarily in WordPress.
• Develop custom plugins and themes for WordPress.
• Support various marketing and automation campaign scripts and systems using PHP and JavaScript.
• Develop modern web applications using technologies like Angular 2, Node.js, Laravel and others.
• Develop advanced front-end landing page logic using JavaScript and CSS.
• Develop HTTP APIs using modern technologies and frameworks.

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Minimum 2 years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, & PHP (preferred 3+ years experience)
• Very strong attention for details and pixel perfection.
• Demonstrated experience in a mainstream content management systems: WordPress (preferred), Drupal, Joomla, etc.
• Strong enthusiasm to learn on a daily basis.
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and best practices.
• Good understanding of CSS techniques and best practices including media queries and responsive design.
• Good understanding of modern front-end web frameworks including Angular (preferred), EmberJS, React and their best practices.
• Good understanding of modern back-end web frameworks and technologies including Node.js, Laravel and their best practices.
• Good understanding of various SQL systems and technologies including MySQL, MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Great sense of humor, enthusiasm and team mindedness
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Good understanding of the HTTP specification and REST API design concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous integration.
• Familiarity with distributed version control systems like GIT.
