At the new PeopleTech branch in Boston, we are hiring experienced engineers with entrepreneurial spirit to join us in this highly visible opportunity. Your customers will be all of the different types of Amazon employees throughout the world- more than 350,000 people and climbing. We are looking for full stack engineers for small, agile engineering teams who will work with domain experts to solve real problems. We’re innovating on one of the most complex employee systems in the world – ensuring that our employees have a secure, responsive and user-friendly way of connecting to Amazon and one another, protecting personal and private employee data, and building core infrastructure that will be used and loved by teams throughout the company. You will work in a highly collaborative and supportive environment across all stages of an agile software development lifecycle, including architecture design, development, documentation, testing and operations.

Basic Qualifications
· BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

· 5+ years professional experience in software development

· Proficiency in a modern programming language such as C, C++, Java, or Python

· Ability to work well with people

· Understanding of scalable computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with designing and building large-scale web services

· Experience with supporting mission-critical, 24×7 systems

· Ability to work with NodeJS, Ruby or other scalable server technologies

· Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, Ajax or similar web frameworks

· Proven results and a history of project delivery
