Full Stack Developer

Boston Data Group is currently seeking an experienced developer to join our team. The qualified candidate will have the required skills and professional experience to work with teams across several business and technical verticals. The candidate will have the desire to stay current with the latest technologies, take pride in his/her position on a team and be willing to contribute to the success of the team as a whole. Experience developing software in an Agile environment, in the financial services industry is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Database Development
  • Gain proficiency with current Self-service, Automation and Master Data Applications
  • Provide improved Security and Performance Enhancements
  • Data Integration between Master Data Warehouses including Service Now CMDB
  • Drive enhancements throughout full SDLC
  • Provide insight for the development of future Enterprise solutions.
  • Participate in improving the current workflow engine.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with C++, HTML5, JavaScript, Angular, React.js, and Node.js (or other JS Frameworks).
  • Experience developing stored procedures/functions/packages in Oracle
  • Experience writing automation test code and scripting (Python, Perl, Shell, etc.)
  • Experience Building REST APIs and API Design
  • Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB)
  • Experience with any of the following tools a plus: GIT, TFS, Jira, Service Now, Jasmine, Jenkins
  • Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Demonstrated track record of contributing successfully to the delivery of large and visible, high quality projects.
