Expert React.js Developer

EveryMundo (www.everymundo.com ( http://www.everymundo.com/ )) is a fast-growing international Performance Marketing Technology & Services company seeking to add a React.js Developer to our team!

We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React.js
• Build reusable components
• Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Create unit testing for each delivered module
• Collaborate with clients and members of technical and non-technical teams in order to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Develop new functionality for the company’s main software offering, with a focus on maintainability and scalability

Desired Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
• Must thrive in a highly collaborative, tight-knit team environment
• Willingness to work hard in an entrepreneurial, flexible environment.

Expectations

Within 3 months

• Understand the architecture of the current implemented React components (Booking Mask) and EveryMundo’s Front Components architecture
• Maintain all current implementations of Booking Mask React Components
• Work with senior React developers around the implemented Booking Mask React Components

Within 6 months

• Continue to maintain all implementations of Booking Mask React Components
• Improve Booking Mask React Components
• Create new Booking Mask React Components
• Work with Product Management and project management to create new Booking Front Components
• Write 1 blog post article regarding EveryMundo’s Booking Mask front Components

Within 12 months

• Own all of EveryMundo’s Booking Module Front Components
• Manage other developers (in-house & outsourced) maintaining all implemented Booking Mask Components
• Improve EveryMundo’s Front Components Architecture
