Event Specialist

Shipt is growing and we are looking for a high energy, organized Event Specialist! You will have the opportunity develop, coordinate, and execute events enhancing the brand awareness of Shipt. The Event Specialist will report to our Outreach & Event Team Lead, and also have the opportunity to collaborate with other marketing team members, ensuring budget management, effective communication, and growing our membership base.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, manage, and execute processes related to event management
• Create communication plans for facilitating ideas and sharing of information
• Communicate with vendors associated with event planning and execution
• Work in tandem with marketing team members to manage budget and invoicing for event needs
• Organize resources needed for event execution including, but not limited to, print, swag and volunteer resources
• Search for ways to increase Shipt’s brand awareness at sponsored events. Ideate on new ways to improve leads gathered from events
• Manage post-event action items and execution
• Timely planning, communication, and execution of all Shipt sponsored events
• Meet budget expectations
• Development and maintain vendor relationships
• Gather and document membership leads generated from events
• Hit lead generation targets per event

What We’re Looking For:

• College Degree; Business Degree preferred
• 2 – 3 years of relevant work experience
• Promotional and/or corporate event experience with managing and executing events
• Experience working in a fast-paced, iterative environment
• Detail oriented, execution focused, and high energy
• Ability to travel up to 50%
