Drafter

JOB SUMMARY: > > > Candidate will perform Computer Aided Design/Drafting using Inventor Pro and AutoCad and associated configuration management tools. Drawings will be civil, mechanical, construction. Site planning and electrical systems. Candidate will be a member of a CAD Drafting team supporting a team of engineers and technicians.

Tasking will involve specific direction from senior technical staff; routine tasks do not require direction. The skill level is such that most jobs will be non-routine in nature, and the candidate has some limited knowledge of engineering principles. Must have the ability to apply organized planning and approach to assigned tasks. > > > JOB SPECIFICATIONS: > > > High school diploma or equivalent.

Requires vocational school training certification, or one (1) year of college with courses relevant to drafting or engineering principles, plus a minimum of three (3) years’ experience (2 years in specialty and 1 year general) progressive from basic knowledge and skill in area of Computer Aided Design and Drafting. Experience in AutoCad and Inventor Pro required. Associate degree may be used for 1 year of experience, training specifically pertinent to the particular kind of work to be accomplished is also creditable toward experience. U.S.

Needs to be able to work well with and support co-workers and clients. Needs to have clear, concise and accurate communication skills. Equipment and Machines: Office equipment/machines electrically/battery operated, including computers, printers, faxes, etc. Attendance: Normal hours are Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm, non-flex Fridays 7:00am to 4:00pm.

Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Regular attendance is necessary and required. Other Essential Functions: Must be able to communicate effectively. Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with clients, management and employees.
