Description:

Airtype is looking for a skilled and versatile front-end developer to join our office in Portland, OR. This is a full-time position that will work closely with our team of designers, developers, strategists, and producers to create expert level interactive experiences. We need someone who cares about their craft as a developer and wants to be better today than they were yesterday.

Skills and Requirements: .

• 2-3 years of professional development experience
• Passion for web standards and emerging technology
• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
• Being a nice person
• Advanced CSS skills
• Experience developing with Content Management Systems
• Comfortable using Version Control (git)
• A willingness to participate in Karaoke

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with server side development
• Experience integrating third party APIs
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services and/or Rackspace Cloud Services
• Intricate understanding of our ever-expanding universe
