Designer

A Designer at 10 Thousand Design is responsible for creating and executing effective, innovative ideas for our clients, across all mediums. This includes ideation, concepts and layout design for all integrated brand identity elements.

A Designer at 10 Thousand Design must thrive in an energetic environment with like-minded peers, and excel at building relationships across departments and with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop concepts and collaborate with copywriters and other creatives to produce standout work
• Assist with monitoring all assigned projects and follow through on all phases of production
• Present work to internal teams and clients
• Push past good ideas in order to discover great ones

Required Skills:

• Possess a solid foundation of design and typographic skills, applicable to an indie band poster or a corporate annual report
• Ability to present ideas clearly and with conviction in order to sell them through internally and externally
• Ability to gracefully balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of printing process, photography, illustration, typography and interactive
• Competency in the Adobe Creative Suite of applications

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or ad school credentials
• Ability to gracefully handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
