Corporate Strategy & Investments Intern

• Research companies and develop profiles for investment or corporate development actions
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and competitive landscape
• Support financial modeling for both industries and companies being researched
• Support research and white paper development on new technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence and machine learning etc.
• Support Cox’s start-up ecosystem efforts by lending ad-hoc support around Techstars, Engage or the Bridge Community

Qualifications

• Minimum 90 total credits
• Minimum 3.25 GPA
• Finance or accounting courses
• Robust research, analytical and critical thinking skills, strong attention to details
• Proficient in MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Word
• Excellent presentation and communications skills, both written and verbal
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing assignments and balance multiple and/or conflicting priorities
• Desire to excel in fast-paced, cross-functional, and results-oriented work environment
